Bouquet Preservation Process
If you are having your flower bouquet preserved, the below steps outline our process for how we turn your special flowers into a custom piece of art:
Step 1: Purchase the frame size and color you want through our website. Be sure to include your event date and contact information. (Fall and Spring are our busiest seasons, so some weekends may fill up!)
Step 2: After purchasing, you will receive an email with instructions on how to ship your bouquet after your event or where to drop it off if you are local to Dallas, TX.
Step 3: Once your bouquet is received at FlowerPatels, you will receive an email / text (depending on the contact information you provide) letting you know that your flowers are being pressed. Pressing takes anywhere from 4-10 weeks depending on the flower type and condition they are in upon arrival.
Step 4: After your flowers are pressed, FlowerPatels will contact you again with a design mock-up to approve before your piece is then glued and framed.
Step 5: If your piece is to be shipped, then you will receive a final contact with tracking information on your shipment.
Please note that color changes with your florals are inevitable during the pressing process. We do offer some color correction services to mitigate fading / discoloration; however, if you have any questions or concerns- please let us know! We'll be glad to share more information of what you should expect in your finished piece. Our goal is for you to love your custom piece(s) for years!

How to care for your pressed flower art piece
Pressed Flower Art Care Tips
To minimize the color fading, it is best to display your pressed flower art away from direct sunlight and in a room with low-humidity (avoid bathrooms and kitchens). We also recommend dusting the glass regularly and ensuring frames are hung with extreme caution.

FlowerPatels, LLC Terms & Conditions of ServiceNote, this contract includes a limitation of liability and limitation of remedies. By purchasing a product from FlowerPatels, you understand that all products are hand-made and involve the use of natural florals and vegetation that will appear different than your original fresh floral bouquet. Additionally, you acknowledge:
1. You are wholly responsible for shipping and/or dropping off your special bouquet to FlowerPatels as soon after the event as possible. Shipping costs for the fresh bouquet are not included in the product cost. Shipping instructions can be found in our FAQ page, and the address will be in your order confirmation email.
2. That flowers go through changes in the drying, pressing and preservation process, and that those changes will include color changes and possibly enhance bruises and/or transparency spots on flowers. For resin products, there will be some amount of bubbles visible.
3. Color correction is an artistic service we offer on some products to color match as close as possible to the original flowers while also reducing the amount of transparent spots and color changes. However, it will never be the exact same color as the original bouquet.
4. FlowerPatels has creative freedom to arrange the flowers as they see fit, based on customer comments and preferences stated in the order. Not all flowers may be suitable for framing, depending on thickness and moisture content.
5. FlowerPatels will send design mock-ups to the buyer to approve before gluing, framing and shipping the final product.
6. Minor revisions may be made to the design which could add time to the overall product delivery.
If the buyer does not respond within 10 business days, FlowerPatels will assume the design is approved and move forward with gluing, framing and shipping the order.
7. If you send flowers that you have dried in advance, FlowerPatels is not responsible for mold, rot, or hairs that may be visible and/or emerge from the flowers during the preservation process.
8. FlowerPatels cannot successfully preserve any pre-dried flowers that still contain any moisture. We cannot press pre-dried flowers.
9. Flowers that have been placed in a refrigerator or freezer before they are sent to FlowerPatels will inevitably contain rot and mold and will not produce a satisfactory product.
10. That FlowerPatels reserves the right to refuse to preserve flowers that arrive damaged and/or wilted to the point that preservation will not be successful. In such an instance, FlowerPatels will not be responsible to return the damaged and/or wilted flowers; however, FlowerPatels may agree to shop for appropriate replacement flowers that resemble the fresh bouquet for an additional cost.
11. FlowerPatels is not responsible for lost or damaged products due to Acts of God affecting either the shipper or FlowerPatels, or for products lost or damaged in transit. FlowerPatels is not held liable or responsible for any changes made with the address confirmed at checkout.
12. That resin can fade into shades of yellow or amber over time. Sometimes, even in the best of conditions, this occurs due to a natural process for which FlowerPatels assumes no liability. Flowers pressed behind glass will change colors/ fade /brown over time and FlowerPatels is not responsible for these natural changes that the flowers will undergo.
13. The turnaround time of your custom order can be up to 3-6 months due to the thorough, tedious process of flower preservation.
14. FlowerPatels has the rights to photograph and/or video any and all products that are made and which may be used on social platforms, our website, as well as in digital and/or printed advertisements without any limitation from clients unless specifically stated otherwise.
15. FlowerPatels has the right to cancel an order at any time under their sole discretion and seeing that the client business relationship will not be an adequate fit for any sort of satisfactory result. If the clients’ flowers have not yet been pressed, a refund may be issued to the client.
16. Because each product is custom made, refunds will not be dispersed for any products. Clients may inquire about exchanges if they are unhappy with their final product(s), but it will be the sole discretion of FlowerPatels to determine if exchange is possible.
17. FlowerPatels is not held responsible or liable for any injuries sustained in relation to the product.
Hot items should not ever be directly set on any resin piece.
Disclaimer of Warranties: FLOWERPATELS LLC SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES (EITHER IN FACT OR BY OPERATION OF THE LAW) INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY ARISING OUT OF A COURSE OF DEALING, CUSTOMER USAGE OR TRADE.Limitation of Liability: IN NO EVENT SHALL FLOWERPATELS LLC, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES OR AGENTS, BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, NOMINAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES OR DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY PENALTIES, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORY ASSERTED, INCLUDING CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, WARRANTY, STRICT LIABILITY, STATUTE OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF IT HAD BEEN AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR THEY ARE FORESEEABLE; OR CLAIMS BY A THIRD PARTY FLOWERPATELS MAXIMUM LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM UNDER THIS CONTRACT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU HEREUNDER, OR THE ACTUAL PROOF OF DAMAGES, WHICHEVER IS LESS. IT IS EXPRESSLY AGREED THAT YOUR REMEDY EXPRESSED HEREIN IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY. THE LIMITATIONS SET FORTH HEREIN SHALL APPLY EVEN IF OTHER REMEDIES FAIL OF THEIR ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
Should FlowerPatels incur legal expense in connection with any effort to collect monies due hereunder or to defend itself relative to any claims made hereunder, FlowerPatels shall be entitled, to the fullest extent under the law, to reasonable legal fees and costs associated therewith. This contract shall be governed by the applicable provisions of the law of the State of Texas.
Any claim you make for any type of damage under this contract shall be made in writing to FlowerPatels within thirty (30) days of delivery of the product you have purchased. Any failure to make a timely written claim shall be deemed a waiver by you.
If any provision of this contract is found to be ineffective or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be fully severable, and this contract shall be construed and enforced as if such provision never comprised a part of this contract. The remaining provisions of this contract shall remain in full force and effect and shall not be affected by any ineffective or unenforceable provision or by the severance from this contract.
